A book based loosely on historical events, Daughter of the God-King was clearly written with a great love of the time period. The setting and dialogue are rich with the post Napoleonic war setting. Personally I found the pacing to be very inconsistent: slow in the beginning, slower in the middle, and then it finally picked up about the last ://   The Bible is like an instruction book for His human creation, and it tells us what we need to know to approach the Almighty God and really get to know Him. It shows that God is love, and God the Father “so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John ).

Though in context, Ezekiel was first speaking about the historical king of Tyre, he seemingly moved into the dateless past with a description of the original fall of Satan. Mortal, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord GOD: You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in :// Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby and Claude King (and now also Richard Blackaby) seems to be a book for which reviewers find no middle ground. Almost all of the reviewers on Amazon give the book 5 stars (with one 4 star book) and one 1 star ://

I love this book. It is interesting because it tells the same story that is repeated in the scriptures - good king dies, bad king takes over, he is slothful, arrogant, brutal, evil, most of the kingdom is sinful and won't repent, prophets who call them to repentance are beaten, then one of his sons will take over and be a good king and get the nation back to worshipping God (Yahweh in this God, the Invisible King By: H.
